November 9, 2009 - WebriQ goes commercial. The Beta sign has been removed.
November 9, 2009 - The 5th package, WebriQ PRO package has been launched. The PRO package allows those users who have CSS and site builder capability, to export a common CSS file to their desktop, edit the code off-line then import it back to their WebriQ site. A parser facility will allow also the on-line customization of the template. The PRO users can also save and load different versions of template to their site. Moreover, the content of the site itself can be restored at any given time.
November 13, 2009 - PRO's Pro Template Contest starts. Anybody, who has a WebriQ PRO package (trial sites do qualify) can enroll to the Contest. Contestants can download a Template Creator Kit and start creating a custom CSS file and upload it to their site. When ready, the site owner can enroll to the Contest from his admin interface. The contest works will be continuously evaluated. Those sites that qualify for the contest will get a 90 days extension of their PRO package. Contestants will be notified by e-mail about acceptance or refusal of their designs.
January 31, 2010 - Submission deadline. Selected design works will be exposed for voting.
February 14, 2010 - Contest closure. Winners awarded.

Simultaneously with this commercial launch, WebriQ is introducing its Pro Package. This package is especially conceived for web designers, web agencies, web free lancers or anyone that has site building experience. As of this week, we will introduce our newly designed audio gallery. This will complement our already richly featured multimedia capabilities with all kinds of audio files that you can insert in any of your content pages or in the audio gallery. Your audio files can also be inserted in to one of the columns of your site and on your main page if you wish so.
You can get a sneak preview of our user interface underneath – the build-up and editing functions are basically the same as in our video gallery. You can flag improper use of audio files and report them to use. We will take necessary actions to remove those files if appropriate.
We currently have a basic implementation of our web shop or e-commerce tool. In the last couple of weeks we have been working hard to enhance the features but most importantly the look and feel of our e-commerce tool. So, we have come up with ergonomically designed web pages where you input all the required data in order to make shopping on your website a worthwile experience. We do offer you a payment gateway with our e-commerce tool, so you can accept all major credit/debit cards and Paypal payments. We can also offer you bank transfer facilities and direct bank payments as a way of settling e-commerce transactions if that would be required.

One of the absolute unique features of our web building tool is its capability to upload videos directly in to your websites and therefore the need to upload them first into another video uploader like Youtube and then embed the code in to your websites is of no need. Our video uploader converts all popular and frequently used formats like avi, mpeg, wmv, vob, 3gp amongst others and your uploads will be automatically converted in to mp4 (H264) or FLV, depending on the width and the height of your video capture. In lay man terms, high quality video will be converted in to mp4 and low quality video will convert to FLV/Flash Video format. We are in the process of enhancing our video features with favorites, statistics, ratings and also a FLAG. A Flag is used to file for complaints against any video that is uploaded and publicized on a website but that is violating a copywright law or that is protected under any intellectual property rights. Beyond that you can embed your uploaded videos in to any page, article, blog or widget that you have created on your WebriQ site. You can also link to your uploaded video and send it to one or all your friends by e-mail.
